History

Jacqueline Riley recognized an opportunity to satisfy the demand for high quality pet products and upscale, nutritional pet food. And so, in 2003 she founded The Dog Bowl.

Since then,  The Dog Bowl has been building business by making customers happy. “We listen to our customers and respond to their need for the very best for their pets,” says Ms. Riley.

The Dog Bowl is not just another pet store. We “Think Outside the Bag” by providing fresh, chemical and preservative free, pet food. And we take the time to educate our customers about the importance of providing their pets with good nutrition. We also provide “the best of the best” in other pet care products—including bowls, collars and carriers.

Today, The Dog Bowl is an established and successful company serving the upscale pet nutrition, care and gift market in Houston, Texas. Expansion plans now include franchising our concept across the nation.
